Card

Your Cosocial card is made from stainless steel, coated in a layer of durable matte black plastic. Embedded within the card is a very large NFC chip. The NFC chip is programmed to, when tapped or hovered near an NFC enabled device, to link to your unique Cosocial URL.

Question My card isn't working
AnswerFirstly, we ask that you test your card against a number of devices to ensure the issue is with the card and not with the device you’re trying to share with. Secondly, make sure you’re using the back of your card to tap against devices. That’s the only side where the NFC is effective.

If the issue persists, then please email us at card@cosocial.io with your URL in the subject line. We’ll aim to get back to you within a couple of hours.

Question Do I need to Activate My Card?
AnswerNope. When you tell us the name you want on your card and pick the URL for your Deck – we program that to your card so when you receive it, it’s ready to use.
Question I've lost or damaged my card
AnswerIt’s annoying, but it happens! A replacement card is ยฃ35. To order a replacement card, you can do so from your “My Account” section. If you’re not logged in, you can login it here.

Ordering a new card, or even supplementary cards, will have no impact on your ongoing subscription.

Question Do people need an app to read my card?
AnswerNo. Your card will work with all NFC enabled devices. Which is all new smartphones. Some older devices might need to activate their NFC before it will work though. ย Your card will just open the device’s internet browser when tapped. So no need for extra software or apps.

Deck

Your Cosocial Deck is the page that you share with people through your NFC card and unique Cosocial URL. You can edit your deck at anytime to make sure that the information you are sharing is always up-to-date.

Question What is a ``Deck``?
AnswerA Deck is what we call your Cosocial profile. It’s the destination at the end of your links. The page that you have created to share your information on.
Question How do I update my Deck?
AnswerTo update your deck, just go to the login page (which can be found here). Sign in using your username and password.
Question What is my username?
AnswerYour username is your URL. For example:
If your URL was cosocial.io/thejohndoe – then your username is thejohndoe

You picked it during the sign up process. Forgotten it? No worries, it’s printed on your card!

Question Do I need an app to edit my Deck?
AnswerNo. Your Deck can be accessed by any internet enabled device. That’s any phone, computer, table, car etc. So you can update your Deck from almost anywhere.

Buying

Cosocial is only available through a monthly subscription. There are threes types of membership available, each of which have different features available on the Deck. All subscriptions provide an NFC stainless steel Cosocial card.

Question How do I cancel my membership?
AnswerCosocial subscriptions (excluding Enterprise accounts) have a minimum 3 month subscription. If you’re outside of your 3 month subscription then you can just login to your account here. Go to the Subscriptions tab and cancel. It takes a second to do and after 30 days, you’re subscription is cancelled. No need to return your card. We hate to see you goย ๐Ÿ˜ข
Question Can I change my payment details?
AnswerLogin to your account here and locates the Payment Methods tab. You can update your payment details there.
Question Can I upgrade / downgrade my account?
AnswerIf you have an Individual account then you can upgrade to an Influencer account ย and vice-versa by dropping us an email to help@cosocial.io. Make sure to include your URL / username in your email and we’ll get that changed for you. You’ll be billed according to your change on the next billing cycle.
Question Can I change to an Enterprise account?
AnswerAbsolutely. However, there’s no automatic process for this. Drop us a message and we’ll be available to help you right away. Get in touch here.

Shipping

Your Cosocial card is always produced within 1 working day of your sign up process being completed. It is then shipped immediately, world-wide, for free. Delivery times vary depending on where in the world you are located.

Question When is my card shipped?
AnswerIn order for us to produce your card, you need to complete the sign up process. This is when you create your Deck. During this process you will choose what name you want printed on your card, along with your URL – which will also be printed on the card.

As we need that info on every card – we can’t make it and in turn ship it until the sign up process is completed. But once we have that info, you’re card will be made and shipped within 1 working day.

Question What counties do you ship to?
AnswerWe ship, for free, worldwide. The only difference is delivery times. Currently we’re working on the following info:

Question What will I receive?
AnswerWe’ll send out your card in it’s packaging. That’s it. No wasteful extra forms, pieces of paper, equipment or anything else. Less is moreย โ™ป๏ธ
